We often take a look at this currency pairing because both currencies are quite high up in the echelons of the currency markets. How would they perform against each other during the month of April this year?

At the end of March we saw the British pound settling on an exchange rate of 1.6044 with the Swiss franc. But what kind of results would we see on the currency converter from that point onwards?

Sometimes in this series of articles we look at some more obscure currencies to get an idea of how the British pound is performing on a wider scale. But this month we are looking at major currencies on the currency converter – and they don’t get much bigger than the Euro.

The British pound has always had something of a hard time against the US dollar – or at least that is the way it seems. So how did it get on during March, having had a particularly rough time in recent months?

Another major currency is up for a close inspection this month against the pound, as we go to see what the British pound could achieve against the Canadian dollar. We were starting from a rate of 1.6079, so anything better than this would be worth celebrating as March got underway.

In the second of this month’s reports featuring the British pound going up against three other currencies, we’re going to take a look at how it did during February against the Maldives currency. Once again this isn’t a currency we typically look at, but it does represent an interesting one for any holidaymakers who are thinking of visiting that part of the world.

If you are considering heading off to Kenya for a safari this year, you will probably be interested to know how the British pound is performing against this currency. At the end of the 1st February a pound was worth 120.795 Kenyan shillings, but where did it go from there?

The Barbados dollar is one such currency, so let’s see how the British pound performed against it during January.
